Luxury Landscape Design and 3D Visualization in Toledo, OH
Stand in the finished yard before anyone digs
Most outdoor projects go wrong on paper, not in the field. Luck Lagoons & Landscaping draws the whole property as one plan for homeowners in Toledo, OH and surrounding communities, then puts you inside it in 3D before a machine shows up.
Andrew Leonard brings 30 years of landscape design to that drawing, and Josh Luck reads the site before Andrew draws a line on it.
What Luxury Landscape Design Buys You
A design is not a picture of a yard.
It is the document that decides where water goes, what the patio can hold, which trees survive the build, and what you are looking at from the kitchen window in five years. Getting those settled before construction is the cheapest part of any project.
One Plan for the Whole Property
Pool, patio, planting, lighting, structures, and grade get drawn together rather than in sequence by whoever shows up next. That is the difference between a property that reads as one place rather than five projects sharing a fence line. Josh has been the second phone call on enough yards where the pool went in first and nothing else lined up to insist on the order.
3D Visualization Before Anything Is Committed
Plan view flattens everything that matters. In 3D you can see whether the pergola blocks the view, whether the steps feel steep, whether the grill wall cuts the yard in half. Changes at this stage cost nothing, which is the whole reason to spend time here.
Grade and Drainage Are Design Decisions
Northwest Ohio soil holds water rather than moving it, and any large build changes where the yard drains. Elevations, swales, and drainage get worked out on the drawing, because discovering them later means cutting into finished work.
Planting Drawn for Year Five
Andrew plants for the size things reach, not the size they arrive at. Bed lines, canopy, screening, and seasonal interest get planned so the property fills in the way it was meant to instead of needing to be thinned out or replaced.
Luxury Backyard Design Around How You Live
Where you eat, where people gather, where the dog goes, where you want to not see the neighbors. Those answers shape the plan more than any style preference, which is why the first conversation is about your habits rather than about materials.

What Our Clients are Saying
“Josh Luck and his team are master landscapers.
They were able to take my failing hardscape and repair and revise it in to something spectacular with a new design including new hardscape, landscape, and water/fire features. Luck Landscaping will give you everything you want and need in your yard and then some!”

How Your Landscape Design Project Moves Forward
1. Property Evaluation & Project Consultation
Josh spends one to two hours walking the property with you, reading grade, soil, sun, canopy, and drainage, and asking how you use the space now. You leave with a written scope, scale, and budget report. The fee is $200.
2. Design and Visualization
Water and grade go down first, then hardscape, structures, lighting, and planting, drawn as one property rather than element by element. It gets built in 3D so you can settle scale and sightlines while changing them is still free.
3. Collaboration and Planning
Details get refined and scope gets shaped to the investment you are comfortable with. A project this size is not decided in one meeting, and it should not be.
4. Construction
The same company that drew the plan builds it. Excavation and grade, then water, then hardscape, structures, lighting, and planting, in the order the drawing set. Nothing goes to an outside contractor to interpret.
-
Layout for hardscape and structures, planting plans, grade and drainage, lighting, and how each of those relates to the others across the whole property.
-
It surfaces the problems people cannot see in plan view, mostly scale and sightlines, at the point where fixing them costs nothing.
-
No, a full plan can be built in phases, and having the plan first is what lets phase two connect to phase one instead of working around it.
-
Before anything is built, and particularly before a pool or a large water feature. Those set grade and drainage for the entire property.
