Meet the Luck Lagoons & Landscaping Team
The same faces at every stage of your project
Luck Lagoons & Landscaping is a small, tight-knit team serving Toledo, OH and surrounding communities. The people on this page are the ones you will get to know over the course of your project. Designers, construction leads, and craftsmen work the same jobs side by side, so the crew that starts your project is the crew that finishes it.
Everyone here keeps learning through classes, certifications, and time in the field. It makes for a team that is serious about quality and still enjoys the work.

Leadership, Design, and the Office
This group walks your property, draws the plan, and keeps the conversation moving once the work begins.
Josh Luck
Founder & Creative Visionary
Josh’s story started humbly, mowing lawns for $7. Eighteen years later, he leads Luck Lagoons & Landscaping, where he focuses on the big picture: casting vision, solving problems, developing people, and moving the company forward.
His greatest strength is seeing what a property could become. On a first walk, Josh is already picturing how water, stone, plants, structures, and gathering spaces could work together, and how your family wants to live, entertain, and relax in the finished space. He holds 15 water feature certifications and was named Aquascape’s Rookie of the Year.
Clients and team members alike know Josh for his energy and his knack for connecting with people. He is a natural coach and motivator who enjoys helping others see the possibilities and find a creative way through a challenge.
Family is Josh’s greatest priority. He and his wife have four sons and one daughter, and when he gets a little free time, there is a good chance he is behind the wheel of his Mustang on the open road.
Andrew Leonard
Director of Design & Projects
Andrew turns your ideas into a thoughtful plan for the whole property. An award-winning landscape designer with a horticulture degree from Michigan State University, he brings 30 years in the industry to every project.
He specializes in project design, plant selection, and pulling every element of a property into one unified plan. Quiet and soft-spoken, Andrew pairs a sharp eye for detail with an extensive knowledge of plants, landscapes, and outdoor environments.
He is also attending Pool School on his way to becoming a certified pool builder, which adds another layer of expertise to the pools and outdoor living spaces the team designs.
Andrew is the father of two sons, one a recent college graduate and the other a new college student. He also referees youth soccer and shoots off fireworks around the holidays.
Jarred Plazak
Office & Retail Manager
Jarred helps oversee day-to-day retail operations, manages customer relationships, and keeps communication flowing between customers and the landscaping team.
A natural interest in plants and animals makes Jarred a great fit for the pond side of the business. He enjoys helping customers care for their ponds, plants, and fish, and he has owned a pond himself for the past four years.
Outside of work, Jarred plays disc golf, goes kayaking, and cheers on Ohio sports teams, especially the Cleveland Browns and Ohio State.
The Luck Lagoons & Landscaping Crew
These are the construction leads and craftsmen who build what the design team draws. Between them, they cover hardscape, masonry, installation, and equipment operation.
Joe Fuller
Landscape Construction Lead
Joe has been with Luck Lagoons & Landscaping for seven years. As a Landscape Construction Lead, he manages the day-to-day work of his crew and makes sure every project is finished to the high standards clients expect.
His experience goes back further than that. Joe learned the trade young, working alongside his dad, who owned a hardscaping company, and those years gave him a strong foundation in construction and hands-on skills. Hardscaping is still his biggest strength, and his craftsmanship and attention to detail show in the patios, walls, and masonry he helps build. Quiet and confident, Joe prefers to let his work speak for itself.
Joe is a proud dad to a two-year-old daughter, with baby number two on the way. He also enjoys riding his motorcycle with his favorite music playing.
Sean Hickey
Landscape Construction Lead
Sean is a Landscape Construction Lead who also oversees facilities and maintenance for the company. He specializes in masonry and the one-of-a-kind specialty projects that take creativity, skill, and the ability to figure things out in the field.
Sean ran his own business for several years, and that independence shows. He takes ownership of challenging tasks and is a go-to member of the team when a project needs a specialized touch.
Sean is a father of two boys and coaches youth baseball. He is also a big sports fan who follows Notre Dame football.
Ernesto Dominguez-Luna
Landscape Construction Lead
Ernesto is a Landscape Construction Lead who brings a wide range of hands-on skills to the team. Best described as a jack of all trades, he is comfortable working across many areas of landscape construction.
That versatility, along with his practical experience, makes Ernesto especially valuable on projects where several trades and skills need to come together.
Family is an important part of Ernesto’s life, and he enjoys spending time with his two sons, two daughters, and grandchild. He is also a soccer fan and follows the sport in his free time.
Josh Luck Jr.
Landscape Craftsman
Josh Jr. has been around Luck Lagoons & Landscaping for practically his entire life, and he technically started coming to jobsites while he was still in diapers. Today he brings five years of hands-on experience as a Landscape Craftsman and plays an important role in building the team’s designs.
He specializes in landscape installation and has a particular talent for operating equipment and machinery. Confident and hardworking, Josh Jr. enjoys the hands-on side of the business and keeps building his skills in the field.
As the oldest of five kids, Josh Jr. grew up surrounded by family and the family business. Off the jobsite, he plays video games, practices karate, and collects Pokémon cards.
Adrian Dominguez
Landscape Craftsman
Adrian works alongside the construction team to turn landscape plans into finished outdoor spaces. He handles landscape installation and helps with the many hands-on pieces that go into every build.
Along with building experience across landscape construction and outdoor living, Adrian is interested in learning more about the design and planning side of the business.
Outside of work, you can find Adrian hanging out, playing video games, and listening to music.
Put This Team to Work on Your Property
Every project begins with a Property Evaluation and Project Consultation. From there, the people on this page take it the rest of the way.
